When he was barely 1.5 months old, little Vishwajeet was diagnosed with severe jaundice. Worried, his parents rushed him to Nanavati Hospital from a local hospital in Ahmednagar, only to discover that he was suffering from PFIC–Type 4 related chronic liver disease. Instead of the joy that usually follows a child’s arrival, his parents were met with constant fear and uncertainty.

Recently, his infections worsened, and the doctors at Nanavati Max Super Speciality Hospital, Hospital, Mumbai,(1.3 km from Ville Parle Railway Station) suggested a living-donor liver transplant as his only chance at survival. The overall cost of the surgery is Rs. 16,50,000/- (Rupees Sixteen Lakh Fifty Thousand Only).

His father, Hanuman, works as a farmer and earns barely enough to meet the family’s basic needs. An orphan who lost his parents at a very young age, he grew up in an orphanage and has no relatives to turn to for support. The family has already drained all their savings of 1 lakh, is in debt, and arranging such a huge amount for the surgery feels impossible. His mother, Ashwini, is a homemaker, praying every day for her baby’s recovery.

Their entire family’s hope now rests on you. This baby boy deserves a chance at life — a chance to smile, to grow.
