Since that day, Vedant’s world has changed completely. School routines have been replaced by hospital visits, and childhood normalcy has given way to uncertainty. He is currently undergoing chemotherapy cycles, a physically and emotionally demanding process that has tested his strength at such a young age. Doctors at Kolhapur Cancer Centre, Kolhapur, Maharashtra (7.5km from Kolhapur Railway Station), have advised limb-sparing surgery as the next crucial step in his treatment, offering hope for saving his leg and restoring mobility.

Vedant’s father, Vijay Patil, works as a farmer, and his mother Vaishali Patil, a homemaker, stands by him every day, offering quiet strength and comfort. The family of four survives on a limited income, and the cost of treatment, Rs. 5,00,000/- (Rupees Five Lakh Only), is far beyond their financial capacity.
