“They are so small and fragile, yet they are fighting every moment,” says their father, Hardesh Gupta. “As a parent, it is painful to see them surrounded by machines instead of holding them close at home. I am doing everything I can, but it is becoming difficult to manage the expenses. We just want our babies to be healthy and come home safely.”
Just nine days into the world, the twin baby boys of Neha Mangla from Delhi are already facing a battle far greater than their tiny lives should hold. Born prematurely, both babies are struggling with complications that require constant medical attention and specialized care. Instead of being in the comfort of their home, they are surrounded by machines and monitors in the NICU, fighting to grow stronger each day.
