What should have been a joyful moment for Alka and Nagbhushan soon turned into days filled with fear and uncertainty. During her pregnancy, Alka suffered from severe pancreatitis, leading doctors to perform an emergency delivery to save both the mother and her babies. Born prematurely at just nine days old, the twins, a baby boy and girl, were immediately shifted to the NICU due to serious complications associated with premature birth.
