I had to leave my job to care for her, and now we have very little means to manage her treatment. I only want my daughter to get better and have the chance to grow up healthy.”

Last year, in June, Trisha Hotkar, an 8-year-old girl from Kolhapur, Maharashtra, began suffering from recurrent high fevers and unexplained weight loss. Concerned about her worsening health, her mother, Punam, took her for medical tests. The results brought heartbreaking news: Trisha was diagnosed with B-Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (Blood Cancer).
