Five year old Shraddha Magare from Jalna, Maharashtra, has been diagnosed with B Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, a type of blood cancer that has turned her family's world upside down. At an age when most children are learning to skip rope and make friends, she is instead learning to be brave through needles, medicines and hospital visits.

The past few months have been unbearably difficult for the family. Shraddha lost her mother, Mira Magare, in a tragic accident just last month, and the grief of that loss still weighs heavily on them. Her father Kishor is now trying to hold his family together, caring for her and her elder sister on his own, with his elderly mother also by his side, all while trying to process a loss no one is ever truly prepared for.

Doctors at MGM Medical Centre & Research Institute, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (approximately 6.1 km from Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Railway Station) have recommended Chemotherapy along with supportive treatment. The estimated cost of treatment is Rs. 4,50,000 (Rupees Four Lakh Fifty Thousand Only).

With a modest daily income, Kishor is finding it incredibly hard to keep up with the mounting hospital expenses. Both his daughters have had to leave their home and school behind, as the family now stays close to the hospital for the treatment. Despite everything they have lost, Kishor holds on to one hope: That his little girl gets to grow up, laugh again, and go back home with her family.
