Ridhima Rajput, a five-year-old girl and the daughter of Amolsingh and Shweta Rajput from Sangali, Maharashtra, is battling a condition no child her age should have to face. What began as a minor stomach ache a few months ago led to months of tests and consultations, eventually revealing a diagnosis that shook the family. Ridhima has Wilson's disease, a genetic condition where copper accumulates in the body and severely damages the liver, and her condition has now progressed to Decompensated Liver Disease.
Riddhima is currently in ICU because of lung infection and is on Ventilator support under Doctors observation, her liver is Functioning well.
Ridhima has undergone a successful liver Transplant and is currently in the ICU, under Doctors observation.
Ridhima has been taken to OT at morning 8 am, her surgery is under process.
Ridhima has been admitted to the hospital, her transplant has been planned tentatively by tomorrow.
Riddhima was admitted on Saturday night on urgent basis as due to sudden bleeding, Awaiting for the Hospital Treating Doctor for further treatment.
