“It started with something so small, we thought it would pass in a few days. But every answer led to more questions and more tests. Today, the only thing on our minds is saving our daughter. We just want to take her home healthy.”
Ridhima Rajput, a five-year-old girl and the daughter of Amolsingh and Shweta Rajput from Sangali, Maharashtra, is battling a condition no child her age should have to face. What began as a minor stomach ache a few months ago led to months of tests and consultations, eventually revealing a diagnosis that shook the family. Ridhima has Wilson's disease, a genetic condition where copper accumulates in the body and severely damages the liver, and her condition has now progressed to Decompensated Liver Disease.
