“We never imagined that a fever would lead to such devastating news. Seeing my little boy undergo treatment is very painful for us. I work hard every day, but my earnings are limited, and the treatment cost is beyond what we can manage. All I want is to see Priyansu healthy again, smiling and playing like other children.”
Three months ago, 7-year-old Priyansu Gouda from Ganjam, Odisha, developed a persistent fever. His parents hoped it was a common illness that would soon pass, but when the fever continued, they took him for medical tests. The results brought heartbreaking news: Priyansu was diagnosed with B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (B-ALL).
