Two-year-eight-month-old Premananda Mohakud from Mayurbhanj, Odisha, has been diagnosed with Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis (LCH), a rare disorder often described as a cancer-like condition. His parents, Late Abhinash and Santoshi, were devastated when the doctors delivered the diagnosis.“Life has taken so much from us already, but I still believe my son will smile again. I just need a little help to make that hope come true.”
Premanada’s Bone Marrow Transplant(BMT) procedure has been canceled due to the high risk involved. He has been referred back to SUM Hospital, Odisha, where his further treatment will continue through medication.
