Eleven-month-old Nilay S R, son of Sinoob R and Rajisha P from Kozhikode, Keralam, has been fighting for his life since he was just two months old. Nilay was diagnosed with Crouzon syndrome, a rare condition that affects the shape of the skull and face, along with failure to thrive caused by repeated respiratory infections that have kept him in and out of hospitals since infancy.

For Sinoob and Rajisha, watching their little boy struggle to breathe has been an ongoing nightmare. Nilay spent a month on ventilator support due to severe breathing complications, and the infections have continued to trouble him. The couple also has a ten-year-old daughter, and the family of seven, including grandparents and Sinoob's sister, shares every worry and every hope for Nilay's recovery under one roof.

Doctors at Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi, Keralam (1 to 3 km from Edappally Railway Station), have recommended Craniofacial procedures B, along with Craniofacial major procedures with implants, involving 1.7 × 4 mm bone screws (12, Stryker), to help correct Nilay's condition and give him a chance at healthy growth. The estimated cost of treatment is Rs. 3,03,000 (Rupees Three Lakh Three Thousand Only).

Sinoob's income is barely enough to run a household of seven, let alone cover a medical bill of this scale. Every passing day adds to the family's anxiety as they try to find a way to give Nilay the treatment he urgently needs. With the right support, this little fighter can finally breathe easy and get the chance to grow up just like any other child.
