Originally from Chattisgarh, Nand Kumar Nagesh and his family members have travelled to Bhubaneshwar in Odisha for treatment and currently live in a rented apartment. He has been diagnosed with leukaemia. It initially started with a fever and bloating stomach, which has evolved into a weakness that forces him to stay in bed all day, fatigue, and low appetite.
