Nand Kumar Nagesh and his family members live in Bhubaneshwar in Odisha at a rented place. He has been diagnosed with leukaemia. It initially started with a fever and bloating stomach, which has evolved into a weakness that forces him to stay in bed all day, fatigue, and low appetite.
