Luca Tony, a four-year-old boy from Ernakulam, Keralam, is battling a condition no parent ever expects to hear about. What began as a simple fever soon turned into repeated seizures, and after a series of tests, doctors diagnosed him with Febrile Infection Related Epilepsy, a rare and serious neurological condition that has left the family shaken.
Luca Tony _The baby is slightly better, but it may take some time for the baby to recover completely. Medication is currently being given only when the baby experiences a severe seizure. Occupational therapy is also being continued. As per the doctor’s instructions, it has been decided that the baby can be shifted to the room with ventilator support. The doctor has also informed us that surgery may be required, as pus has been found in the urinary bladder.
