Lochandharan is 14 years old and lives with his family in Anakaputhur, Kancheepuram, Tamil Nadu. Diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease from a very young age, his life has looked very different from that of most children his age. As his condition progressed early in his childhood, dialysis became a regular part of his week, and doctors advised his family to keep him home rather than send him to school.
