Komal is currently under care at Jehangir Hospital in Pune, Maharashtra (2.4km from Pune Railway Station), where physicians have advised urgent closure of the PDA. Without timely treatment, her condition may worsen, affecting her ability to lead a normal, active life. Despite her fragile health, Komal remains gentle and hopeful, showing strength beyond her years.

Her father, Dayaram Chaudhary, works as a labourer, earning a limited daily income. With four members in the family, ongoing debts, and rising medical expenses, managing Komal’s treatment has become an overwhelming challenge. Her mother, Pinki Chaudhary, is a homemaker who remains by her daughter’s side, offering reassurance at every hospital visit.

The total cost of Komal’s treatment is Rs. 2,59,951/- (Rupees Two Lakh Fifty Nine Thousand Nine Fifty One Only), which is well beyond the family’s means.
