Eleven-year-old Sathenapalli Hemanth Veerendra from Krishna, Andhra Pradesh, has endured more pain than most of us face in a lifetime. Diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of blood cancer, Hemanth has spent much of his childhood battling constant fevers, body aches, and uncertainty. Despite undergoing two surgeries, his fight is far from over.
