During a biopsy, the family received the most heartbreaking news a parent can hear. Little Gaurav has been diagnosed with cancer, High-Grade B-Cell Lymphoma.

Doctors at Rainbow Children’s Hospital in Hyderabad have confirmed that Gaurav urgently needs four cycles of intensive chemotherapy to come out of danger. This life-saving treatment comes at a cost of Rs. 12,00,000 (Rupees Twelve Lakh Only), an amount far beyond what his family can afford.

Gaurav’s father, Raja Sekhar, is a daily wage labourer who works tirelessly just to provide meals for his small family of three. His mother, Sunitha, is a homemaker who now spends her days and nights by her son’s side in the hospital. A few years ago, the family sold their property and moved to Hyderabad after losing Raja Sekhar’s mother, Gaurav’s grandmother, in a tragic incident.

To continue Gaurav’s treatment, the family has already sold all their gold and borrowed heavily just to manage basic medical and living expenses. They have exhausted every possible option and now have nowhere else to turn.

Gaurav is fighting bravely, but he cannot do this alone. Your kindness and support can give this little boy a chance to grow up, to play, to dream, and to live.
