What began as an ordinary day turned into a life-changing tragedy for Ganesh Bagul, a 15-year-old boy. He was playing outside with his younger brother near their home, where construction work for a well was underway. As part of the process, fire was used to break the land, but suddenly, gas was released, causing the flames to spread rapidly. Both children were caught in the accident. While Ganesh sustained severe burns, his younger brother suffered 95% burns and, tragically, could not survive.
