A Tiny Heart Fighting for Life: Baby of Silvy’s Journey

The birth of Silvy Prince’s baby boy was meant to bring joy to his family, but instead, it marked the beginning of an incredibly difficult journey. Born prematurely just four months ago, the little child has spent nearly his entire life inside the NICU at Rajagiri Hospital, Aluva, Kerala (5.9km from Aluva Railway Station). His fragile body continues to battle multiple life-threatening conditions, including severe heart complications and respiratory distress.

b/o Silvy Prince, The baby is currently in the Pediatric NICU. The ventilator support was successfully removed today, and he is now under continuous 24-hour observation by the medical team. His condition is being closely monitored, and if his recovery continues as expected, he is likely to be discharged in the next three to four days. After discharge, he will be transferred to Rajagiri Hospital for further treatment and follow-up care.
