A Newborn's Fight for a Future

"It breaks my heart to see him so tiny and struggling. But every time I look at him, I remind myself that he is a fighter, and we will not give up on him."

Ganesh Wanjare ;(Father)

Just 14 days old, a newborn baby boy, son of Satvashila and Ganesh Wanjare from Yeldari in Yavatmal, Maharashtra, is battling for his life in the NICU. Born with a very low birth weight, he was soon diagnosed with Respiratory Distress Syndrome, along with clinical sepsis and thrombocytopenia, conditions that have made his first days in the world an uphill struggle.
