Only 11 days old, the baby girl of Sapana was diagnosed with Spine Bifida with Myelomeningocele, a severe condition that was present from birth. Instead of the joy that usually follows a child’s arrival, her parents were met with fear and uncertainty. Doctors at Usha Hospital, Haridwar, Uttarakhand (9.3km from Jwalapur Railway Station), have advised an urgent surgery for her condition to give her a chance at survival.“My little girl came into this world just a few days ago. We dreamt of holding her close and watching her grow. But instead, she lies in the hospital, fighting for her life. I feel helpless, but I won’t give up on her.”
