“She is so small, yet she is fighting so hard. All we want is to see her grow, cry, laugh, and come home with us. Every breath she takes feels like a victory for us. We hold on to hope, believing that this fragile beginning will one day turn into a healthy, happy childhood.”
Baby girl of Rajni, from Mumbai, Maharashtra, is only 7 days old, but her life has already begun with immense challenges. Born with Very Low Birth Weight (VLBW), she struggled to breathe at birth and showed signs of weakness immediately. Doctors soon diagnosed her with Birth Asphyxia, Pregnancy-Induced Hypertension (PIH), and Intrauterine Growth Restriction (IUGR). What should have been a moment of joy for the family quickly turned into days of fear and uncertainty.
B/O Rajni is clinically stable and under continued NICU observation. Currently on nCPAP oxygen support, with focus on gradual oxygen weaning.
