Soon after birth, the doctors noticed that the baby was unusually weak and required immediate medical attention. He was shifted to the Narayana Mother & Child Care Centre, Gurugram, Haryana (4.4km from Gurugram Railway Station), where doctors diagnosed him with complications related to premature birth. The medical team advised a prolonged NICU stay of nearly 35 days to help him survive and develop the strength his tiny body needs.

Anurag Singh, the child’s father, works as a delivery boy and is the sole earner for a family of four. With a limited income, he is already burdened by debt taken to cover initial medical expenses. His wife, Radhika, is a housewife who spends every moment by their son’s side, watching over him through incubator walls and whispered prayers.

The cost of treatment is estimated at Rs. 2,50,000/- (Rupees Two Lakh Fifty Thousand). For this family, the amount feels overwhelming, yet giving up is not an option. Every day in the NICU is a step closer to life, to hope, and to the moment when baby Radhika can finally go home, wrapped in love rather than wires.
