A Newborn's Battle to Breathe and Survive

Just three days ago, a baby boy was born into the Neelakhanthi family in Medak, Telangana, arriving into the world far too soon. Born very prematurely, he developed serious respiratory distress and was also diagnosed with congenital pneumonia in his right lung, leaving him dependent on oxygen support just to breathe.

For his parents, Naresh Kumar and Ravali, the joy of welcoming their first child has turned into days of fear and uncertainty. Ravali had a difficult pregnancy, delivering at seven months while battling jaundice and liver complications of her own. Now, as she recovers, her thoughts remain with her newborn son fighting for his life in the NICU.

Doctors at Medicover Woman & Child Hospitals, Telangana (approximately 7.5 km from Lingampalli Railway Station), have advised 30 days of intensive NICU care to help him breathe on his own and grow stronger. The estimated cost of treatment is Rs. 9,57,500 (Rupees Nine Lakh Fifty Seven Thousand Five Hundred Only).

With a modest income and no one else to turn to, Naresh Kumar and Ravali are struggling to arrange funds for their only child's treatment. Despite the odds, they refuse to lose hope. With timely support, their baby boy has every chance to breathe easy, grow strong, and come home to the family that is praying for him every single day.
