“When we learnt that our daughter had blood cancer, it felt like our world had stopped. Ananya is still so young, yet she faces every hospital visit with courage. We are already burdened with debt, but we cannot give up on her treatment. We only pray to see our daughter healthy and smiling again.”
Five months ago, seven-year-old Ananya Jadhav from Nanded, Maharashtra, began suffering from frequent fever and weakness that simply would not go away. At first, her parents believed it was a common illness that would improve with medicines and rest. However, as her condition continued to worsen, they decided to get further medical tests done. The reports brought devastating news: Ananya was diagnosed with B-Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (Blood Cancer).
