“When the first surgery failed, it felt like all our hopes had broken. But Amrutha remains strong despite everything she has gone through. As parents, it is painful to watch her struggle every day. We only wish to see our daughter walk freely and smile without discomfort.”
Since birth, 11-year-old Amrutha from Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh, has been battling a painful condition known as bilateral developmental dysplasia of the hip. Her childhood, instead of being filled with carefree play and laughter, has been marked by hospital visits, discomfort, and physical struggles. Hoping to improve her condition, Amrutha had already undergone one surgery. However, despite the family’s hopes and sacrifices, the procedure was unsuccessful, and her condition returned.
