Three years ago, 11-year-old Aleeza S from Palakkad, Keralam, began facing difficulties that no child should have to endure. She was unable to walk or speak like other children her age and struggled with everyday activities. Concerned about her development, her parents took her for medical consultations and tests. The examinations revealed that Aleeza was suffering from a neurodevelopmental disorder and bilateral pes planovalgus with a midfoot break.

Since then, her family has stood beside her through every challenge, hoping that the right treatment will help her become more independent. Doctors at Baby Memorial Hospital Ltd., Kozhikode, Keralam (3km from Kozhikode Railway Station), have advised bilateral foot reconstruction with Mosca osteotomy and medial soft tissue imbrication, followed by a POP cast. This treatment could help improve Aleeza’s foot alignment and mobility. The estimated cost is Rs. 1,50,000 (Rupees One Lakh Fifty Thousand Only).

Aleeza’s father, Sajadh, works as an auto driver and earns a modest income, while her mother, Jasmin, is a homemaker. As a family of four, managing daily expenses along with the cost of treatment is a significant challenge.

With timely treatment and compassionate support, Aleeza can take important steps towards greater mobility, independence, and a brighter future.
