“When we learnt that our little daughter had only a 20% chance of survival, our world fell apart. We were grateful when her surgery was successful, but the fear of losing her has never left us. We have already borrowed money to save her, and the debts keep growing. All we want is to bring our little girl home and watch her grow up healthy.”

At just six months old, little Adithya Shinse from Idukki, Keralam, has already faced a battle no baby should have to endure. Diagnosed with congenital heart disease at birth, her condition gradually became more severe, leading to cardiac shock, severe pulmonary arterial hypertension, ventricular dysfunction and multiorgan dysfunction syndrome (MODS). With only a 20% chance of survival, Adithya required emergency surgery. Thankfully, the surgery was successful, giving her family a renewed reason to hope.
