Harsh Needs Our Help to Heal

Just six months old, Harsh Devade, son of Mahesh Devade and Nilam Devade from Nashik, Maharashtra, has been struggling to breathe properly since the day he was born. What initially seemed like ordinary breathing trouble in a newborn turned into repeated visits to the doctor, and it was eventually found that Harsh has a hole in his heart, medically known as Perimembranous Ventricular Septal Defect, measuring 6.6mm with inlet extension and a left to right shunt. This condition has made even the smallest everyday activities difficult for him.

Harsh lives in a joint family with his parents, his elder brother, his grandmother and his aunt, all of whom have been by his side through this difficult time. For Mahesh and Nilam, watching their little one gasp for breath and fall sick again and again has been heartbreaking. As parents, all they want is to see their son grow up healthy and strong, surrounded by the family that loves him.

Doctors at KIMS Manavata Hospital, Nashik, Maharashtra (approximately 7.3 to 8.6 km from Nashik Road Railway Station), have advised VSD Surgical Closure to help Harsh breathe easy and lead a healthy life. The estimated cost of this treatment is Rs. 4,00,000 (Rupees Four Lakh Only).

With a modest income being the only source of support for a family of six, arranging such a large sum for Harsh's surgery is proving to be an uphill battle for Mahesh and Nilam. Yet despite the financial strain, they have not given up hope. With timely surgery and support, Harsh can finally breathe freely and get the healthy start every child deserves.
