A few months ago, nine-year-old Efrona Rephy began experiencing a fever that seemed ordinary at first. However, instead of subsiding, her health deteriorated rapidly. Her breathing became laboured, her weakness grew, and soon she stopped responding to basic treatment. Alarmed, her parents rushed her to several hospitals before her condition became critical, requiring her to be placed on a ventilator.“For weeks, I have watched my daughter struggle to breathe.
