To repair her heart, she underwent a VSD closure surgery, but her journey is far from over. Jaifal and Ummu Kulsu have watched their daughter go through more in a few weeks than most people do in a lifetime, and every day brings both hope and anxiety as they wait for her to grow stronger.

Doctors at Rajagiri Hospital, Aluva, Kerala (approximately 4 to 6 km from Aluva Railway Station), have advised prolonged ventilator support and an extended stay in the NICU to help the baby recover fully. The total cost of treatment comes to Rs. 9,00,000 (Rupees Nine Lakh Only), a sum too heavy for the family to bear alone.

Being a family of six with three older children to look after, Jaifal and Ummu Kulsu are already finding it difficult to manage their daily expenses, let alone a medical bill of this size. Despite the odds stacked against them, they hold onto hope, praying every day that their child will soon be strong enough to come home.
