A Father’s Hope to Save His Newborn Daughter

Baby of Ishna entered the world far earlier than expected. Born at just 33 weeks and weighing only 1.3 kg, she arrived fragile and vulnerable. The moment her mother, Ishna, held her, doctors rushed the newborn away for urgent care. What was meant to be a joyous beginning quickly turned into fear and uncertainty.

Doctors at Silver Crest Hospital, Gurugram, Haryana (2.9km from Gurugram Railway Station), adiagnosed the baby with premature birth complications, conditions that require constant monitoring and specialised medical intervention. To survive, she needs an extended NICU stay for three weeks, round-the-clock care, and life-support equipment.

Akash works in a private job and earns just enough to support his family of four. With Ishna as a housewife and mounting household responsibilities, their small income has already fallen short. The medical bills have pushed the family into debt, and the estimated treatment cost of Rs. 2,50,000/- (Two Lakh Fifty Thousand Only) is far beyond what they can manage.

Despite the emotional and financial strain, Akash and Ishna hold on to hope. Their newborn daughter is fighting bravely, but she cannot continue her treatment without help.
