Arhaan's Battle: The Unyielding Power of Parental Love

Arhaan Shaik, a cheerful 3-year-old from Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh, was full of life until frequent fevers and loose motions began troubling him. His concerned parents rushed him for medical tests, hoping it was something minor. But the results changed their lives forever. Arhaan was diagnosed with Thalassemia, a serious blood disorder that affects his ability to produce healthy blood cells.

He has undergone hematopoietic stem cell transplant at Rainbow Children’s Hospital in Hyderabad, Telangana and now is on Post-Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation. Post-transplant care in thalassemia is not optional—it's lifesaving and central to achieving a cure. Without careful follow-up, even a technically successful transplant can fail or result in severe complications. The cost of this critical treatment is Rs. 9,00,000/- (Rupees Nine Lakh Only).

Arhaan’s father, Shaik Mohammed Rafiq, works as a labourer and is the only breadwinner in a family of five. His earnings are barely enough to cover daily expenses. Arhaan’s mother, Shaik Haseena, is a housewife. The family stays on rent and is already burdened by debts taken to cover initial medical costs.

Despite their hardships, Arhaan’s parents are determined to save their son. But they cannot do it alone.
