“It’s been two months; my daughter is in the hospital. My heart breaks to see her with all those tubes and wires around her. I know she is brave and will fight her disease, but she needs help from you all.”

Two months ago, baby Alina stopped playing due to drowsiness. With time, she started becoming weak, and one day she caught a slight fever. Her father took her to the local doctor. The doctor said that she would be fine but was getting weak. Her body used to get cold, while the temperature of her head was high. These unusual symptoms caught her parents worried and off guard. Her father took her to various hospitals and later learnt the worst truth of his life. Alina was diagnosed with Aspiration Pneumonia with Sepsis and Refractory Metabolic Acidosis with IEM.

Doctors told him that his daughter wouldn’t survive but giving up was not an option for Arif. He took his daughter to K. J. Somaiya Hospital & Research Centre, Mumbai, Maharashtra (2.5 km from Sion Railway Station). As per their doctors, Alina needs Mechanical ventilation with a Tracheostomy Tube in Situ and a Prolonged Stay. The approximate cost of the treatment is Rs. 9,00,000 (Rupees Nine Lakh Only).

Arif works as a housekeeper, and with a bare minimum income, he runs a family of four. He took multiple loans and borrowed money from his loved ones to save his daughter. Your contribution can save little Alina. Help us save Arif’s daughter.
