Two-year-old Afifa Kakar, the daughter of Sana and Altaf from Tapi, Gujarat, is facing a battle that no child her age should ever have to face. What began as low weight, high fever and seizures when she was just a baby was later diagnosed as Progressive Familial Intrahepatic Cholestasis Type 1 (PFIC-1), a serious liver condition.
