Baby Abhishek Joel from Hyderabad, Telangana, is only one month old, but his tiny body is fighting a battle no newborn should ever face. Just 15 days after his birth, he suddenly began showing alarming symptoms. He had seizures and doctors soon discovered that his left lung had collapsed. A tracheostomy had to be performed to help him breathe, and a PDA ligation was done to treat a large PDA affecting his heart.“He is only a few days old… yet he has gone through more pain than I could ever imagine. Every time I see him struggling to breathe, my heart breaks. I just want to take my son home.”
