The diagnosis turned the family's world upside down. With another child at home to look after as well, Balaji and Lavanya have had to juggle caregiving responsibilities while making frequent trips to the hospital for Rudra's treatment, all while trying to hold their family together through the uncertainty.

Doctors at KIMS Renova Cancer Institute, Visakhapatnam (approximately 5 km from Visakhapatnam Junction Railway Station), have recommended an Allogeneic Matched Unrelated Bone Marrow Transplant as the only permanent solution for Rudra’s condition. The estimated cost of this treatment is Rs. 30,00,000 (Rupees Thirty Lakh Only).

For a family surviving on a modest income, raising this amount on their own is simply out of reach. Still, Balaji and Lavanya refuse to give up hope, holding onto the belief that their son can be freed from this endless cycle of transfusions and given the healthy future every child deserves.
