Current Situation of Maharashtra in Kolhapur and Sangali

Thirty people have reportedly died due to floods in Maharashtra. 11 people have died in Sangali, 4 in Kolhapur,6 in Pune, 7 in Satara, 1 in Solapur. National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) teams continue rescue operation in Kolhapur.

Maharashtra is expected to release more water from dams of Krishna and Bhima river. Bijapur and Bagalkot districts in Karnataka will be affected. The 12 Navy teams will be deployed today in Sangli in addition to the teams already present in Kolhapur. The situation in Sangli remains the same.
