“We were never the richest family, but we were happy with whatever we had. But when my son was born, our happiness knew no bounds. The entire house was enthralled with celebrations. Friends and family gave us their blessings. How I wish I could go back to those times. Today, my son has been confined to the NICU. I wish to hold him in my arms, but this simple request has been denied to me. I want to give my son a fulfilling life. Please make my simple dream come true.”-

On 8th December 2022, Mahadevi gave birth to a beautiful baby boy. The entire family was happy for her and her husband, S. Giridharan, and gave them their blessing. But a month later, dread came knocking on their doors. Doctors at Koval Medical Center and Hospital Limited in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu have diagnosed the baby with Abdominal Distension, Cytomegalovirus, and Pediatric Intestinal Pseudo- Obstruction.

The baby needs to stay in NICU for parenteral nutrition until bowel motility improves and he tolerates feeding. The cost of the treatment is Rs. 5,00,000/- (Rupees five lakhs ).

S. Giridharan works in a wholesale company and earns a meagre income. With his small income, he has to feed his family of five. Adding to his miseries, he also has to pay Rs 4,500 for his house’s rent.

Somehow, S.Giridharan has managed to pay the expenses of the treatment by borrowing from friends and family members. But he is running out of options now. Please donate to the baby’s aid, and share this fundraiser with all your friends and family members.
