Child Help Foundation is Supporting Kerala for Flood Relief Programme

Kerala experienced one of the worst disaster in more than 100 years. More than 350+ people have died and it is still increasing.

More than 4 Lac people have been shifted to relief camp.

It is a terrible situation and millions of people had already been affected mostly Old, Women and Children.

People are living in relief camps and there is an urgent need of food, clothing and basic necessities for Women & Kids. This has been declared as a state emergency.

Kerala has been affected with rains and floods so vigorously that whole state is submerged under water. The unprecedented rains have brought the state to a standstill. Essential services have taken a hit, with shortages in medical supplies and drinking water reported from several places.

As the water crossed the dangerous level, authorities were forced to open the gates of 34 reservoirs. More than 10,000 km roads have collapsed and thousands of home have been destroyed. Hundreds of villages have been flooded which have destroyed and affected the lives of people across the state.

The most number of relief camps have been opened in Wayanad (159) and Ernakulam (136) districts.Child Help Foundation has also taken the initiative to support Kerala in their Calamity Relief Program.

One of the worst disasters in 100 years has taken place in Kerala. We believe that possibilities are endless where unity in diversity exists. And now its time to show our unity to our southern state Kerala. The death count is mounting day by day. Hundreds of villages have been submerged. Child Help Foundation needs your support to reach out and help thousands of children and families to come out of this calamity and crisis.
