Fighting for Little Zuhaa’s Tomorrow

help-zuhaa

“Zuhaa has always been a happy and lively child. Her laughter used to light up our home, and seeing her smile gave us hope even during the darkest times. But now, that smile fades as her health deteriorates. She is extremely weak and prone to severe infections. She can no longer walk and spends her days lying in bed, struggling with the debilitating effects of her condition. We feel so helpless as we pray for her life and dream of the day when she can run around like any other child."

Imaran Sayyed ; (Father)

Three-year-old Zuhaa Sayyed has been battling a life-threatening condition, Fanconi Anaemia, since she was just a year old. Her parents first noticed something was wrong when she suffered from recurrent fevers. Blood tests revealed alarmingly low blood and platelet levels. Further tests confirmed the devastating diagnosis.

Fanconi Anaemia is a rare genetic disorder that affects the body’s ability to produce healthy blood cells, leaving little Zuhaa vulnerable to severe complications. Her doctors at Jupiter Hospital, Pune, Maharashtra, have recommended a Bone Marrow Transplant to save her life. The cost of the treatment is an overwhelming Rs.22,00,000 (Rupees Twenty-Two Lakh Only).
