“Our little daughter was fine all these years, suddenly she fell ill and is now in a critical condition. The doctors diagnosed her with a disease that I can’t pronounce. They have proposed surgery which I can’t afford. Please help us.”-

It was a hot sunny afternoon when Mohd. Waseuzzama Sayed first saw his little baby girl and fell in love with her. He still fondly remembers the little girl’s first cry. But he never thought even in his nightmare that his little Zubia would suffer from Fanconi Anemia. Little Zubia who is nine years old now suffers from coughing fits, seizures, severe pneumonia, severe weight loss, blood loss, and extreme body weakness. She is currently admitted to the Rainbow Childrens Hospital in Hyderabad. The doctors there have proposed a Haploidentical stem cell transplant (HSCT) support therapy, costing an estimated Rs. 25,00,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Lakhs Only).

Zubia’s parents, Mohd. Waseuzzama Sayed and Humera Khanam both belong to the lower middle-class category. Zubia’s father used to work at a shop as a supervisor but lost his job due to covid-19. It is extremely difficult for them to manage their living expenses at this moment. They live in a small dingy room on Balepir Beed, Maharashtra's outskirts. Moreover, little Zubia has two younger siblings. At this moment, the family needs support from generous donors like you.
