Yashraj, born to Nitin and Jyoti on July 30th, 2012, led a normal childhood until December 2019 when his parents noticed his swollen face. Concerned, they took him to the hospital, where he was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia after blood tests.

According to the doctors at Nashik’s NAMCO hospital, (13.5 km from Nashik Railway Station), Yashraj needs chemotherapy along with supportive care for approximately one year, the cost of which is Rs.6,00,000/- (Rupees Six Lakh Only).

Nitin, Yashraj's father, toils in the marketing department, earning a meagre Rs.10,000 per month. With Rs.3500 swallowed by rent, their family of five faces a daunting battle with no savings to cushion the blow. So far, they have survived with the help of their friends as they have no savings at all.
