Yash Langade, a 14-year-old boy from Solapur, Maharashtra suffers from Ventricular Septal
Defect (VSD) with severe Right Ventricular Outflow Tract (RVOT) Obstruction (a complex heart
defect).
Yash is the third child of Mr. Babaso Langade and Mrs. Sarika Langade. His elder sisters are
Chakuli(19) and Sundar(16), and his younger brother Rudra is 10 years old. His father works as
a daily wage laborer earning up to Rs. 350/- as and when the need for the work arises. His
mother is a homemaker.
When Yash was three-months-old, he suffered from constant fevers, colds, and coughs for
which he was under continuous medication. His parents took him to a local hospital where his
heart defect was diagnosed. Doctors advised that he undergo heart surgery after a few years
because he was very young. He suffered from breathing difficulties, colds, and fevers during
these years.
His condition has worsened. He needs to undergo an urgent Intracardiac Repair of VSD with
RVOT obstruction Surgery. The estimated cost of the surgery is Rs. 3,30,000/- (Rupees Three
Lakhs Thirty Thousand Only). His father is the only earning member in the family of six. Due to
the nature of his job his income is not fixed. Mr. Babaso needs your help to save his child.
