“I recall that moment every day in my mind, I was so happy when I heard my son’s first cry, it
was magical. But soon this happiness turned into the worst of our worst nightmares. Two
months after my son’s birth, we noticed that he would fall sick frequently and his body seemed
weak. When we took him to a local hospital, we learnt that there was a hole in his heart, and he
would need a heart surgery. But the funds required for the treatment are beyond our
capabilities. Please help us afford our son’s life-saving treatment.”-
Seven-month-old Vignesh is the only son of Mr Vineeth and Mrs Satyamma from Telangana. He
was diagnosed with a complex heart defect when he was just two months old. His parents were
informed that he will need heart surgery but due to financial constraints, they could not afford it
at that time. Little Vignesh had to start consuming medicines even before he started having
baby food. His parents have spent their life earnings on his medication so far.
Vignesh’s health is deteriorating, and he is currently taking treatment at the Apollo Institute of
Medical Sciences, Hyderabad. The doctors have proposed an Intracardiac Repair surgery that
is estimated up to Rs. 4,75,000/- (Rupees Four Lakh Seventy-Five Thousand Only). Vignesh’s
father is the only breadwinner of the family and earns a daily wage of Rs. 500/-. They need your
help to get through these tough times. Your generosity is the only hope they have, please help.
