“My daughter, the apple of my eye, suffers daily from her condition. She cannot even walk properly and requires constant assistance. I wish for her to live an independent life, but with her current condition she might have to live a life of a cripple.”

Urvashi Sutar, daughter of Vishal and Yogita, lives in Jalgaon, Maharashtra with her family members. She has Right Quadriceps Contracture, which in simple words means a malformation of limbs. Urvashi cannot walk on her own and she requires some kind of support.

According to the doctors at Maharashtra’s Ashoka Medicover Hospital (7.5 km from Nashik Railway Station), Urvashi needs to undergo Quadricepsplasty Surgery, which would cost Rs.3, 00,000/- (Rupees Three Lakh Only) .

Urvashi’s parents work as farm labourers and earn a daily wage. They live in a rented house with a monthly rent of Rs 1,500/-. Vishal has emptied his savings for his daughter’s treatment and has nothing left to offer his daughter.
