"My son, Tanmay Kar, is loved by everyone in the family. So when they found out about his condition, it was as if calamity had struck us. We don’t have enough money, but we have happiness. Now that itself has come under threat."

Tanmay Kar, a five-year-old boy, lives in a joint family in Baleswar, Odisha. His misery began when red marks started appearing on his body, which turned out to be Leukemia. Now, his life hangs in the balance as his parents pray for a miracle to save their child.

According to the doctors at Odisha’s AIIMS (13.9 km from Bhubaneshwar Railway Station), Tanmay needs to undergo Chemotherapy that would cost the family Rs.4, 00,000/- (Rupees Four Lakh Only).

Tanmay and his family live together in a joint family and primarily earn income through daily wages. However, their combined income is barely enough to sustain their family. Let alone, pay their medical bills.
