Sukumar is a 3-year, 4-month-old child who has been carrying a huge burden in his heart. He has been diagnosed with blood cancer and has already gone through one gruelling session of chemotherapy.

According to the doctors at Andhra Pradesh’s Rainbow Children’s Medicare LTD (3.0 km from Visakhapatnam Railway Station), Sukumar would have to go through more sessions of chemotherapy, which would cost Rs 10,00,000/- (Rupees Ten Lakhs Only).

Sukumar’s father, Venkatesh, works as a house painter and is the sole breadwinner in his family of four. For his son’s treatment, he has travelled to Vijayawada, where he is living in a rented house. Even though Venkatesh has taken help from his relatives, he still hasn’t been able to accumulate enough funds.
