“I work on a farm and earn a meagre 400 rupees per day. My wife is a housewife who looks after our toddler. We are extremely helpless and can’t see our daughter suffer.”

Just like any other parent, Shivanjali’s parents also want her to study and reach greater heights. Unfortunately, things are not going their way as their 7-year-old daughter is suffering from Embryonal Rhabdomyosarcoma.

Doctors from MGM Medical Centre & Research Institute, Sambhaji Nagar (formerly known as Aurangabad), Maharashtra (6.6 km from Sambhaji Nagar Railway Station), have advised chemotherapy. The estimated cost of the treatment is Rs.4,50,000/- (Rupees Four Lakh Fifty Thousand Only).

Shivanjali’s father; Gorakh, works as a farm labourer and is the sole breadwinner for the family of four. He lives in a rental apartment. Till now, he has borrowed money for his daughter's treatment, but he can’t cover further expenses.
