“Shashi is my youngest son and is very dear to all of us in the family. I see him suffer everyday due to his deadly disease and feel very helpless as I can’t do anything about it. We are praying to God for his recovery. We are feeling very helpless as we do not have enough money for our son’s treatment. We fear that we will lose our dear child due to lack of money for his treatment. We are badly in need of help. Please help us save our baby.”

Shashi Gupta is a 3year old boy of Mr. Amit Gupta (Father) and Mrs. Arti Gupta (Mother). Shashi is the youngest among his siblings; he has two elder brothers named Bandhan Gupta (7years) and Yash Gupta (5years). His father works as a driver with a very low income and his mother is a housewife.

At the age of 2years, Shashi started getting fever frequently. Whenever he was taken to the doctor and given medication, he would recover but would again get fever after a few days. This had continued till the day when Shashi’s mother noticed dark spots developing on his body. He was immediately rushed to the doctor. Medical tests were done on the advice of the doctor, through which they got to know that Shashi is suffering from blood cancer. He was then shifted to Rainbow Children’s Hospital for his better treatment. The estimated cost of her treatment is Rs.6, 00,000/- (Six lakh only).

Shashi’s father, being the only earning person in the family of 7, is not able to bear the expenses of his son’s treatment.
